“Clack, Clack, Bap, Bap, Six love”, the aromatic sounds and words that emerge when an over enthusiastic domino lover erupts in joy after winning a round of dominoes.

Originated in Egypt about 1355 BC, played by the Chinese as early as 1120 AD, dominoes appeared in the British Colonies of the Caribbean, such as Jamaica, in the early 18th century. Since then, dominoes have become an accepted part of our lives and one of Jamaica's favorite pastimes.

For years, many have tried but none to have come close to having the world recognize dominoes.  Giving dominoes true respect and its' rightful place in the world of sports. Dominoes in Jamaica is synonymous to baseball in America. A game played by Kings and Presidents even devotee Lyndon B. Johnson, President of the United States of America. The World Series of Dominoes will attempt to do just such.

The World Series of Dominoes Limited's (WSOD), a Jamaican company formed by aficionados Kerry Newman, primary objective is to establish a place for dominoes and Jamaican domino players and teams in the world's sport arena.
